The characters especially Michael Keaton's role is all kinds of crazy.
The film itself is a cult must see film!

The best part of the movie, however, was how Melanie Griffith's character deals with Michael Keaton's character in bringing him down!!

Set in the 1930s, an honest, goodhearted man is forced to turn to a life of crime to finance his neurotic mother's skyrocketing medical bills. An NYPD Detective (Michael Keaton) and his struggle for justice, while taking care of his late partner's three little girls after he is killed in the line of duty.
As they renovate the house, they look for a tenant for the first floor of their house.
It came out in the late 80s or early 90s and I love it in theaters.
If you want a great suspense movie, I strongly recommend Pacific Heights. Hadn't seen it in years and couldn't find it anywhere else.

Usually I expect to see Michael Keaton in a comedy in which he usually does GREAT! He becomes dark and menacing. Great movie.
